The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). CALS and its School of Forest Resources and Conservation and School of Natural Resources and Environment offer 24 majors at the undergraduate level.

- Undergraduate research opportunities: students will find many opportunities to conduct undergraduate research at the University of Florida. These opportunities include the University Scholars Program, IFAS Extension Internships and IFAS Research Opprtunities.
Off-Campus Programs
CALS offers a limited number of undergraduate degrees at locations across the state. Statewide programs are located in Apopka, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Pierce, Milton, and Plant City, allowing community college graduates to complete bachelors degrees in a variety of majors including Landscape and Nursery Horticulture, Food and Resource Economics, Entomology and Nematology, Geomatics, Horticultural Sciences and Natural Resource Conservation. The major selection varies by location. Students interested in pursuing admission to statewide programs as degree seeking students should follow the transfer admission guidelines of the college for that particular major.
Distance Education
CALS offers graduate degree programs by distance in Soil and Water Science (Environmental Science Track), Entomology & Nematology, and Agricultural Education.
